Opening up the wall between the kitchen and the family/dining room and reusing the beautiful original solid birch wood cabinets made it possible for this project to have a huge impact inexpensively.

The opening between rooms has a curved corner detail to match the existing one within the house. A complementing walnut wood waterfall peninsula is used for counter seating between rooms. New floors, counters, cabinet hardware and an iconic George Nelson light create a Zen experience in this Mid-Century Kitchen.
